Suitman Jungle – AKA Marc Pell (Mount Kimbie, Micachu & the Shapes) – is a percussionist that blends live jungle and drum & bass mash-ups. Armed with an array of effects pedals and synth pads, he’ll be performing from behind his kit at our next event on 18 March 2020, as part of Blasio Kavuma’s Jungle night.
Ahead of his performance, check out this interview Marc did with Point Blank Music School, where he talks about his use of the ‘Amen Break’ drum track, one of the most enduring samples that is part of the DNA of drum & bass and jungle music.
If you’re still curious about the Amen Break, you can listen to the original track here (sample starts at 1.26).
