We were delighted to be in Birmingham for Associate Composer Emily Abdy’s curated event Vox. Emily brought together a line-up of artists with experimental approaches to vocal music, with sets from Chloe Knibbs and Blue Ruth alongside Abdy’s own music performed by violinist Sean Morrison and enjika.

“Emily Abdy and Nonclassical have put together a really special showcase tonight. Allowing these composers and performers this collaborative opportunity is what this country desperately needs more of […] The music I saw tonight might be some of the most objectively clever and subjectively beautiful I’ve ever heard.”
